Dear All Members
This is a very exciting time for the FGDP, and we would like to keep the
Yorkshire division at the front of all developments.
In order that we may do this it is vital that all members have their say.
We now have vacancies on the board and would welcome nominations and any
volunteers from full members. The board meetings are usually two per year and we organise events for our
members and prospective members during the year. |
This year we have had our John Besford day, and our update meeting in
November to come. Next year we are arranging some very stimulating
meetings, including overseas speakers.
This year has also seen the launch of the new MJDF exam. This course has
been very well received and has had an excellent uptake.
A news letter is compiled for all members yearly to keep you abreast with
any new developments.

The Yorkshire Division of the Faculty of General
Dental Practice (FGDP) aims to bring together
members of the dental team who are committed to
improving standards of patient care in general dental
practice, establishing evidence based standards
in primary dental care, providing a career pathway
, promoting the importance of practice based research
in primary dental care.
The FGDP Yorkshire Division has a great team of
dedicated practitioners who give up a significant
amount of their spare time to develop the faculty
in our region. Together we are determined to continue
to improve both the variety and nature of the post
graduate education we have to offer our members. |
